who we are
Hi we’re James & Monica. Over several years we’ve personally experienced and benefitted from the physical, mental and social benefits of sauna and cold water therapy. We’ve travelled far and wide to enjoy some amazing saunas in beautiful settings. From urban inner city saunas, brilliant and blustery coastal saunas to dreamy countryside spots, and our dream was to be able to bring that special sauna glow to our community and share those benefits with our own sauna in West London.
In West London, saunas are often hidden away in expensive spas and gyms - out of reach for most people. We’re here to change that. Our aim is to make sauna culture open and accessible, to share the simple power of heat and cold for body and mind, to encourage time spent outdoors in nature, and to bring people together through shared moments of rest and renewal.
We want to make a real difference in our community by creating something more than just hot and cold. It’s about healing, connection, and culture. A sauna can be more than self-care - it can become a shared space, a cultural hub, a community asset - a place that brings people together.
Alongside the sauna, we’ll bring together other wellness operators to create events including yoga, breath work, Aufguss steam rituals, and traditional whisking. Seasonal gatherings like full moon cacao ceremonies, meditation, and music, we hope, will help build a warm, welcoming community around the sauna.
We’re excited to offer something truly special to West London: A space to recharge, reconnect, and feel good - naturally.

Our Sauna
Our ‘Other Fold’ Authentic Scandinavian-built wood-fired sauna brings a luxurious wellness experience to beautiful outdoor spaces across West London.
Set in natural surroundings, it features a panoramic picture window and a rustic, stylish design that adds charm and character to parks, riversides, or community-friendly locations.
Designed by the wonderful Scandinavian Sauna in Denmark. Hand crafted, fully mobile and designed to be towed to select sites for short or long-term pop-ups. Each setup includes an outdoor cold shower and cold plunge, offering the full benefits of hot and cold contrast therapy, known to support circulation, mental clarity, and overall
well-being.
Sauna is a ‘third place’ - not home, not work, but something slower and more essential.
Warm, welcoming, and grounded in ritual, it offers space for real connection.
We believe this sauna can become a new kind of social sanctuary - where people gather, unwind, and restore together, season after season.
