Alcohol, nudity and smoking are not permitted in the sauna. Jewelry should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.
All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.
Health and Safety Waiver for Sauna and Cold plunge
When making a booking, you must complete our Health and Safety Waiver for Sauna, located in the booking process. In order to attend your appointment, this form must be completed.
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times, time includes:
Do not use any facilities before receiving a briefing from staff: if you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a staff member.
Sauna sessions of no longer than 20 mins at a time (we recommend 5-15 min session)
Following operators instructions on how to pour water onto hot rocks
Only pouring the provided ‘sauna water’ on hot rocks and nothing else
Do not dump water directly from the bucket onto the sauna heater rocks: gently ladle water from the bucket.
‘Whisking’ is not permitted.
Entering and exiting sauna in a safe manner
Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safety and swiftly if needed
Shower and wash your feet before using the sauna room or cold plunge pools.
Wear appropriate footwear: floors may be slippery when wet.
Remove shoes prior to entering the sauna and ensuring feet are clean
We advise staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water: free water is available in cool-down rooms or at reception.
Do not use the sauna room if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as dizziness or fainting.
Full nudity is not allowed.
No touching any part of the stove
Bring your own towel: we recommend two—one for sitting on and one for drying off.

All persons using the plunge bath do so at their own risk.
It is mandatory for all persons using the cold plunge to first rinse off using the provided shower.
The sauna must be vacated by the scheduled end time.
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group or booking a private hire, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of these terms and conditions to ensure safe sauna practice.
Other Fold Sauna Co managers and operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
Children under 16
Children under 16 are permitted to use the saunas, strictly accompanied by an adult at all times. The relationship between the child and adult should be noted with staff on arrival at the sauna. The accompanying adult must remain present for the entire duration of the session, supervising at all times. Children under 16 are not permitted to enter the cold plunge pools and accompanying adults are responsible for ensuring this is adhered to at all times. An adult to child ratio of no more than four children per adult must also be respected when using the sauna.
Cancellations and refunds
Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the booking date and time.
You can cancel or reschedule your own booking, just following these steps:
Find the original booking confirmation email, sent to you when you made the booking (ensure to check your junk mail.) Or find your reminder booking email
Click the button ‘Change/Cancel Appointment’ which will open the booking system.
Choose an alternative date and time to rebook or click cancel.
Please note, if you cancel a booking this does not automatically provide you with a refund. Once you have canceled your booking, please email sauna@otherfold.com a copy of your cancellation email and request your refund. Refunds then take 5-7 working days to process.
